Mixed-Flow Fan:
A mixed-flow fan lies between an axial fan and a centrifugal fan. The impeller of a mixed-flow fan causes the air to move both centrifugally and axially. The air movement within the casing combines both axial and centrifugal motion forms, hence the name "mixed-flow".
Features:
Mixed-flow (diagonal flow) fans have a higher pressure coefficient than axial fans and a larger flow coefficient than centrifugal fans. They are used in situations where both pressure and flow are "neither too large nor too small." They fill the gap between axial fans and centrifugal fans. Additionally, they are characterized by simple and convenient installation.
